This past week, Lynne and Chad were in Ontario for hunting season.  It was also Lynne's birthday on Thursday.  It was great to see them.

On a sad note, we got an email from Aunt Marcelle letting us know that Uncle Don passed away.

On Friday, it was off to Toronto, well Mississauga really, for the weekend.  We were signed up to take the Adoptalk workshop with Children's Bridge.  We were originally signed up to take this course back in 2007.  It got postponed due to all the matching delays. 

 It was a great - very informative and overwhelming at times.  Meeting the families was awesome too.  We got lots of information from Tammy and Melanie.  They have recently returned from China with their daughters.  Melanie actually travelled with Serge and Val.  She said Maeve was just beautiful....I don't doubt that.  Tammy was very energetic and had lots of stuff to share.  She made us each a multi-page color handout.  She even brought her iPad and shared some of their photos.  She will be a great resource to have.

On Saturday night, we headed to André and Laurie's for dinner.  We finally got to meet RJ.  She is such a sweetie.  Mom, Dad and Aunt Fran were also there for dinner.  We had a nice visit with everyone.  Hadley bear sure is busy!!

Sunday night, we made our way to the funeral home.  It was great to see everyone, despite the circumstances.  The service on Monday was very nice.  Uncle Don would have loved it. RIP.
