Friday, Scott and I had lunch with the Kummeling family.  They were passing thru town on their way to Kirkland Lake.  We got to meet their daughter Claudia.  She is 3 years old now.  What a cutie!!

We met Heather and Dirk in 2007 at the dinner organized for Group 278 (See Perfect Kitchen post).  We really had a lot in common with them and met up again with them in 2008.  They decided to withdraw their application for China due to the long wait and opted to adopt privately.  They are amazing parents.  Claudia is a very lucky girl.

We made the most of our short visit and promised to not wait so long to see each other again.  We are planning to go camping sometime next summer...Hopefully with our girls!
