We spent this past weekend in Ottawa so Scott could complete his Spin Instructor certification.  He has been talking about it since last winter.  He is confident that he will be able to teach classes at CFBC North Bay - hopefully soon.

It was a one day course given at the Ray Friel Centre.  Scott received his interim certification and must complete the online test in the next 6 months.  Lucky for him the questions are all in the study materials that were sent to him before hand.  He will be great!


I spent my day shopping with Aunt Carmen.  It was like a full time job.  We left the house a 9am and got back at 5pm.  We walked a lot and only stopped 20 mins for lunch.  I found some more things for Molly's room, got some new clothes and a baby shower gift.  Here is a photo of the latest purchases.


We also had a chance to visit with family.  We had dinner at the Mill Street Brew Pub with Mike and Carm, Moe and Michelle, Marc, Elodie and Alice, and Stephane too!  Food was good and the beer was plentiful.  It would be a beautiful spot to see during the day.  It's right on the Ottawa river, just a bit up from the Parliment Buildings.

We had a great time but we are always glad to be home!
