67 Days Left!
Another small batch this month. There seems to be a bit of a pattern emerging in the last six months. Whenever a big batch is announced, it is followed by 3 small batches. The last batch was 10 days, so that would make this the first of 3 small batches. Again, only time will tell where they will end up.
The RQ has done some long term predictions. Her calculations were done using referrals of 4, 5, 6 and 7 days. Here is where she puts our referral date if the CCAA consistently matches on a monthly basis:
7 days: February 2013
6 days: April 2013
5 days: June 2013
4 days: November 2013
On a personal note, things haven't slowed down one bit for us. The weather is getting nicer so we are out riding more often. Race season started for Scott at the end of April. Unfortunately, it was not a very successful race. His chain broke on the first lap. He was able to fix it and make up some time but then it broke again on his second lap. He didn't have a second "quick link" to fix it so he was not able to finish.
April and May are the most active months for the IAAP (my professional admin association). We just hosted the Administrative Professionals Day luncheon and workshops at the Best Western. It was a great day. This month, we will have our Annual General Meeting and elections. This will be my last year as the treasurer. I have decided to withdraw from some of my extra curricular activities to prepare for Molly's arrival. I am really looking forward to finishing her nursery.
Work has really started to pick up for me as well. Unfortunately, one of the advisors I was working for has resigned. Her clients were transferred to the other advisor. His book is growing nicely which really helps with the learning curve. You can't learn anything new if you have no clients to work with!
We are looking forward to nicer weather and summer vacations. We are planning to go camping for our holidays. Scott and company are doing the 24hr Summer Solstice in June and Crank the Shield in September. Scott will celebrate the big 4-0 on his mountain bike. They are also doing the Canada Cup race at Hardwood Hills and the O-Cup race in Sudbury. I am going to Kitchener-Waterloo for the IAAP Canada Division Conference in June. I am really looking forward to the 70's themed night- costumes are encouraged. Dynomite!!
